Led Recessed Lighting 50W GU10 Halogen Alternatives?

50W GU10 Halogen Alternatives? - led recessed lighting

I have a basement full of 50W halogen downlights, which at 120) to multiple drives (controlled sections. The only problem is that it runs very hot, while the rest of the house cool in the basement works like a sauna. I am looking for alternatives, and I have not found anything to solve the problem really is. I really do not want to break all the lights and replace them with something else. We reviewed options GU10 LED (3-6W, expensive, high non-adjustable), CFL (~ 11W, high non-adjustable) and xenon lamps also give the promise of less heat, but was not found to support real data. I like to keep my controller, if possible, but I am open to other suggestions. While I found the normal version of LED lamps and compact fluorescent lamps, most of them too large to fit in the standard kit (Catalina Lighting triggered mounting housing), or are only available in 240V versions.
