What is a great ski resort or place that isn't well known or expensive for the holidays? - breckenridge ski holidays

My family and I intend to go skiing in Breckenridge, but the price was outrageous for early retirement. I love to ski a lot. I'm skiing since I was very young, and I want to go skiing this holiday season. If you are from a mountain or a resource that is not well known and / or white of the face, I would be very happy.
